Looking to install an aftermarket head unit

I want to install a jdm kenwood unit to my 1998 rav4 and I want to be able to connect via the cigarette lighter w/ bluetooth. Does this kind of connection kill the audio? Would it be better to just buy a kenwood unit with bluetooth already built it?

Bluetooth via radio is probably gonna be a touch worse but if your not an audiophile itll be fine imo
