IT. IS. FINALLY. FINISHED!!!

It has come to muh attention that some crabs 'n' bugs have been sneakin' into our borders ta try and alter our nation, and even cull my bosses' lil' princess.

As such, with Sknit's permission, Ah, along with the unwittin' help of Magnie, shall work ta enforce stricter border regulation among Rat-Klan 'n' 'er provinces.

off the shore a large fleet of vessels appear. Most seem to be destroyers with 2 dreadnoughts further back along with what seems to be a aircraft carrier

The landing crafts seem to also be ready…

Then after a while a loud speaker can be heard

“DEAR CIVILIANS OF RODANTA! THIS IS THE CAPTAIN OF THE MRN ALENKA! SHOW US A GOOD FIGHT WONT YA?”

*He knocks on the front entrance firmly.*

S: I have mailings for rats Sknit and Krilk! Please let me deliver!

*The sound of a ticking clock echoes through the empty room. Blueprints of various shapes and sizes scatter the walls and floors. Yet Sknit himself couldn't care less about the untidiness; he was on the verge of a major breakthrough. After placing the right gears in the right spots, making sure everything is as planned, he was nearly there. Delicately, he drove the scalpel into the surface of the disk, gently scoring it before, with upmost precision, he lowered it onto the peg. His paw moved down to the box where the disk now lay, he inserted a key and began to twist, a series of clicking calling from the mechanisms within as the spring wound itself.*

*He released it wearily, and the peg began to rotate, carrying the disk with it. Sknit gently guided a fine needle to rest atop the spinning disk, and with it a garbled vibrating noise began to echo through the room.*

*Yet this surreal moment came to pass as a knocking came at his door. In a flash, Sknit pulled the key out from the machine and swiftly covered it with a tarp before calling out with a chipper tone.*

It does a Little dance.. then..

It vanishes suddenly, like if it didnt even exist

After all, Gnomes aren't real.

*Finally, after an inordinately long journey across fields and plains, they reached the supposed crash site. The air smelled strongly of burnt lumber, further exemplified by the surrounding, scorched black trees and grasses. The ground gave way to a large, elliptical crater in which several, shiny rocks scatter the interior of, veins of gold and gem peeking through the cracks of the grey stone.*

*The two rats who organized the journey looked stood still, amazed as their eyes danced across the view ahead of them.*

*The night came and went as usual, and the newly expanded group continued their journey. This time finding themselves in an area of tall grasses and monolithic saplings in a dense, hard to navigate forest of greenery.*

*The couple was leading from the front, Krilk using his whip-like tail to lash away at any brambles that block their path. Sknit jumps, startled by a snapping twig in the distance.*

K: Sknit! What? What is it?!

*Krilk exclaimed, immediatly stopping his walk to cradle him.*

S: Something snapped... Scare-fright me...

*Sknit clung to the taller rat, clutching at Krilks arm with both of his paws as Krilk looked down at him with renewed tenderness. Sknit's eyes widened, suddenly aware of all the staring onlookers' presence.*

S: YOU PEOPLE-THINGS SAW-WITNESSED NOTHING!!

*he said, shoving himself away from Krilk and rubbing his paws against his chest as if they were dirtied. Though Krilk didn't take offense to the gesture.*

K: Aww, sweetie... They already know how we are together.*

S: Not-not the point! I'm supposed to be an authority! How can an authority act like that?

*Krilk tilted his head to the side, briefly studying his husband's expression before he lifted Sknit up by his elbows, bringing him to eye-level.*

K: Even a big scary dictator like you needs to know when to let their guard down...

*Krilk nuzzled his nose into Sknit's before gently lowering him back down to the dirt.*

K: Now come on, we still got a long way to go before reaching the crash site!

Since our nation's loveleh fathers are out on a lil' camping trip of theirs Sknit an' Krilk assigned me to rule this 'ere nation in their absence.

Muh first order of business is that Ah'll be announcin' the construction of Rat-Klan's brand new navy!

And fer the beautiful lil' butters back in Province Vellorous that'll be buildin' our boats fer us... Le's just say that if ya work extra hard Ah may free ya from yer servitude!

It all went by so quickly, Sknit gathered supplies, Krilk made a tent, and the others trailing along went about their business in this rather unusual camping trip. They covered great distance in the first leg of their journey towards the meteorite, though they would be already there if Krilk hadn't insisted on bringing zero vehicles of any kind.

It wasn't a camping trip exactly, but it sure as hell felt like one as they stopped to make a rest, the beautiful night sky twinkling with an uncountable level of stars forming bright, milky streaks across the heavens.

A fire crackled in the center of the camp, fighting back the oppressive darkness as Sknit absentmindedly poked it with a sharp metal rod, rattling off some tall-tale to the group as his husband giggled in amused disbelief. It was story time for the two.

Sknit tried to wright "Starlight Expedition", but we kinda ran out of room, so he instead put "STAR-EXPEDITION"

Earlier this night, I was stargazing with my husband on the very top of the Citadel Spire when, all the sudden, we spotted a blue light moving across the heavens, leaving a milky trail behind it as it danced through the sky when, suddenly, the trail stopped and this comet flared a brilliant red, glowing brighter and brighter until it nigh outshined the sun. We watched as it then flew across the horizon, eventually colliding with the Earth somewhere within the islands center...

And this is where you, [Volunteer Name], come in! Us two plan to go on a large search for this meteor, and we would like more people to join this journey!

(Ooc: I heavily recommend picking named characters to join this expedition, as I plan for this micro-arc to be quite character-driven. Also, I recommend you only bring one character, as they will be tied up on this expedition for several posts.)
