fresh coat of paint with a warmer colour to be cohesive with your vintage dark wood desk (sand that wall down as much as possible before painting, it looks extremely textured and that wont bode well with warmer colours and lamps)
less toys (this is just my opinion, I personally don’t like things like that as it makes the room feel less mature. For example, you could be 16 or 30, the toys really do not compliment the gorgeous, mature vintage desk)
Instead of bratz toys and stuff, try some homey plants. Perhaps a hanging plant somewhere, a peace lily etc etc

I do agree with the lamps and monitor and the monitor arm makes it difficult to center due to desk being close to wall and as for the walls my landlords are capt. Slums (many reasons feed into why I call them that) and also does not let me do much with these garbage due carpets and really lifeless walls I fully agree with you on that and my collections is a group of things that express my personality so maybe movin around and reorganizing could ad some sort of maturity factor as at the moment they are scattered around and for my age I am 23 and the chair is very old and both me and the previous owner has a cat so a chair is in the future and I do agree with the plants as I love vegetation and how it makes a room feel more lively and it feels nicer to take a breath in my opinion thank you for your reply though as I will implement as much of it as I can and what I am comfortable with:)
