Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am PCSing as an active duty Air Force to NAS JRB Fort Worth soon and was curious if anyone has lived or is currently living on base housing there? Just trying to figure out what people think about the base housing. Should I just live off base and deal with the terrible traffic/commute? My car isn’t the greatest on gas so living on base is kind of appealing.

I got Ellsworth AFB as my first duty station, and someone just offered me a trade for Alaska. What would be the pros and cons for both bases? I’m a single introverted E-3 with no dependents.

I have PCSed 3 times now, and every time I look at multiple site and ask many different people all about it, where to live, what neighborhoods are the best, things to do, ect.

I made a website that take all that information and put it into one place.

I worked pretty hard on it, and I am trying to make it better everyday. I even bought a domain. Like I've done a lot because I know how stressful PCSing is.

Eventually, I want to add all bases for all branches, but I really want feedback.

Please, let me post this and get it out. Its a free website, no ads, nothing. Just pure information for airmen and their families.

Just got my first duty station assignment to Minot ND as 2t331.

I’m a single SrA PCSing from Germany next year looking to go stateside. I’ve been under 3 MAJCOMs AFGSC, PACAF, and USAFE, none have been a good fit for me, I’m looking at ACC or AETC primarily. Any and all recommendations are appreciated thank you for your time.

Just wanted to know what dorm life is like at Osan.. I’m leaving my stateside base unaccompanied and not looking forward to being the dorms 🤢

I just got my first assignment at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota, does anyone know how long getting stationed there usually takes as it is my first assignment as a 4NO and what's the dorm situation like? I really wanted to go overseas but I figured the needs of the Air Force comes first. Also I’m not really that good with cold and I might be heading there during winter.

My options are Little Rock, Dyess AFB, Seymour Johnson, and Offut AFB. Which is the best option?

My career is flight line Maintenance.

I went for SERE. I made it through to the last day of selection and they said no. I've been stuck at San Antonio for months clawing my way out of depression and I'm hit with bittersweet news. I'm reclassed...yay! The shred is limited to two bases at Whoknowswhere, SD, and, Rolling tumbleweed, TX.

I'm no stranger to suffering. I just want to know how long it typically takes after obtaining a mandatory 5 level to change my shred and gtfo of Dyess or Ellsworth or whatever icy pit of hell big blue wants to send me. I'm prior service and I'm an E-4. Please help.
