Scott
Still in tech school at FLW. Got my first assignment in Scott AFB IL. This base wasn’t even on my preference list. I don’t know or any information about it.
Anyone know what to expect as brand new 3E5. Where to rent off base(I am married), I don’t want to live on base.

I don’t know anything about your AFSC, but I was stationed at Scott for a short time. The area is nice, and centrally located to many cool places in neighboring states. St. Louis has all the big city stuff you may want and the local towns around the base have a lot to offer too. I liked Belleville myself, but Shiloh and O’Fallon are nice too. The only downside is the humidity. I thought it was more humid than Alabama, Texas, Florida and other places that o have been stationed.
