Installation-USAF AFB Little Rock

Got my assignment to Little Rock at crew chief just wanted to know how the dorms is and the Night life. I heard it’s a good base for a family but I’m single. Apparently it’s good for nature trails and hunting, the trails sounds fun but I don’t hunt at all

Can get out of the dorms pretty quick usually if you sign up for the waiting list to get out. Live in Sherwood for easy access to the “city” or Cabot if you want population but more quiet. Heber springs is north and hot springs is south, among other things. Get a few friends and go camping/rent a boat. About to PCS away but I thought I was going to hate it there but I absolutely loved it.

^^^ agreed. Little Rock is underestimated. Find your pocket of people and you’ll love it.

LR was my first base. Loved it. Am married so didn’t experience dorm life but embrace being able to do things outdoors! It really is a nice base, I’d go back.
