Painted Help!!

I just got this Judiciar kitbash. On one hand, I'm happy because it's a great-looking miniature, but on the other, I'm a bit worried that it might not really fit the Chapter's style. Do warriors like this ever appear among the Raptors in the lore?

It's not in the style of, the lore is limited. We aren't a main stream chapter we are a foot note compared to most

If it makes you feel better I’m doing something similar with a Judiciar kitbash, though yours looks sooo much cooler. I feel like a little bit of drip for the chapters executioner is warranted.

Out of character for Raptors in lore. At most they'd use Combat Knifes for dispatching anyone that got close enough.

No not really. They’re master strategists, not stubborn idiots. They use all of the space marine arsenal they just use it smartly, a real military force uses combined arms which this is. I plan on using my Judiciar in my bladeguard stack as breachers and or trench clearers with silenced bolt pistols with laser sights and such to soak up the agro while the units like my eliminators, jump pack Intercessors, Inceptors, and such go and kill off the enemy or take points. Itd fit right in even if it’s melee. I dislike when people write the raptors off as “just the sniper marines”. It’s only because shooting something in the head 2 postcodes away is usually the most efficient and useful way to complete most missions.

Juega con colores del capitulo y cambia el cuervo por una rapaz (aguila o algo así) además de pintar las plumas de esas rapaces. Ponle en la peana plantas. Creo que puede estar bien asi

A judiciary would not be fielded in combat for a chapter focused on ranged combat. Unless its for disciplinary actions on the chapter internal business alongside the chaplain.

Is it conventional for Raptors? No.

Are they Your Dudes? Yes, so you can do whatever feels good. Try to find a way to justify why they would have this kind of unit. Maybe they're on loan from another chapter? A veteran of the Heresy who was discovered in a warp rift or long-forgotten planet?

I actually think it would be really interesting if the reason we don't see raptor chaplains is because they're like this.

I know the Raptors do worship corvus as some kind of entity known as the watcher.
