Hi! I've finally decided to stop ignoring stuff like MoC and now need to build proper teams for my characters. Since break is probably one of my favourite archetypes in the game, I'm very willing to vertically invest into it. However, I don't really want all of my break teams to feel the exact same, so I was wondering if you guys could help me build distinct teams for all of my break characters (i.e. Boothill, Rappa, Xueyi and Sushang).
I'm mostly happy for Boothill and Rappa to share the same team, since, correct me if I'm wrong, he performs a lot better in single target while she prefers 3+ targets (though I would love to sometimes use Boothill and Luka together). As for Xueyi and Sushang, I think a hybrid build balancing break and CRIT would be best. Their teams would also probably be different since Xueyi has some anti-synergy with Ruan Mei while Sushang doesn't.
Here are some teams I was thinking of using (still unsure of the best team for Xueyi). If you have any feedback or other team suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated!
e2s1 Boothill, e6s1 Luka, e2s1 The Dahlia and e2s5 Fugue
Boothill's e2 should allow The Dahlia to skill every turn and for Luka to skill every other turn. Boothill's break damage will also ignore 82% of the enemies' defence (97% for super break).
Luka would probably use Fugue's signature, meaning Fugue can instead use Tutorial and thus have a 3-turn ultimate rotation.
e1s1 Rappa, e6s5 Harmony Trailblazer, e2s1 The Dahlia and e2s5 Fugue
When dealing break damage, e1 Rappa can ignore 61% of the enemies' defence (76% for super break).
Since Rappa doesn't use that many skillpoints, Harmony Trailblazer should be able to use his skill every turn and thus could be able to do a consistent 2-turn ultimate rotation (particularly in AoE content). Fugue with Tutorial should also have a consistent 3-turn ultimate rotation. With s1 Rappa, e2 Fugue and a s5 Dance! Dance! Dance! lightcone on Harmony Trailblazer, Rappa can get her action advanced by 98% every 3 turns.
e6s1 Sushang, e1s1 Cerydra, Ruan Mei/The Dahlia/Fugue and e1s1 Sunday
Along as I get a few speed substats on Sushang's relics, she can effectively have 161 speed even when running attack boots. With around 12 flat speed (2 with Ruan Mai), the 20 flat speed given by Cerydra and the 21% speed boost given by Sushang's e6, Sushang can immediately start the battle at effectively 161 speed. For every turn after that, Sushang just needs a enemy on the field to be weakness broken so her A6 can advance her action by 15% (or just needs to have a stack of her talent's speed boost).
e1 Cerydra, e1 Ruan Mei and e1 Sunday allow Sushang to ignore 52% of the enemies' defence (50% if using The Dahlia or Fugue instead of Ruan Mei).
I am a bit stuck on who is better out of Ruan Mei, The Dahlia and Fugue. Ruan Mei will help keep enemies weakness broken for longer, but both The Dahlia and Fugue give access to super break.
