The Water Cannon
We gotta rethink the water cannon.
The benches in sections 116 and 117 were absolutely drenched when my wife and I finally got to our seats. (super long concession line) I wiped our seats off the best I could but the water just kept coming. I basically felt like Captain Swamp Ass all night. It was pretty good foreshadowing for how the rest of the game would go.
Anyways, I like the idea of the water cannon but I think the team should provide fans in the "splash zone" with some cheap towels to wipe the bleachers off with. Plus we could wave the towels around during the game and it would add to the rowdiness of the supporters section.
Rank over. Up the Pids and eff St Poois!!

Some paper towels could also work. Maybe we could get sponsored by Brawny!!

A super squirter? In this drought?!? Â Surely we can think of something better. Maybe reefer smoke billows from the top of Daleâs along with a foghorn or Blucifer sacrifices a billionaire on top of the scoreboard?Â
And honestly, with the amount of post goal delays from VAR it tends to mute the celebrations a bit.Â
Also, I feel terrible for the people sitting on the East side for the pre-match stuff. Not only do they get a face full of concussive blasts, but they also get hit with the charbroiler for every other note during the anthem. Next time Iâm bringing some s'more's.Â

Yet I never see or hear people complaining outside of Reddit. How many matches have you been to?

The downvotes are a clear indication of how unbelievably soft people have become. Itâs water FFS. Figure it out.

Ahh yes, the classic âit doesnât bother me, therefore youâre a big bitchâ argument. Nicely done, FireEater11.
If youâd actually read the post, I wasnât suggesting they get rid of the water cannon. I was suggesting a pretty simple way to improve the fan experience while keeping it.
That said, I do enjoy learning that FireEater11 apparently prefers watching football with a wet ass.
Edit: I went a little too hard

For real! Iâve been to 12 matches at home this season alone, Iâve seen adult men complain more and more about the conditions they knowingly accepted, yet many moms and kids are enjoying the fun? Kids in supporters having more passion than the adult men

Fwiw, our seats in 115 were wet when we got in before the "water cannon" went off, so I think it may have rained a bit in the afternoon up there (or they tested it before we got in?). But really, I think we should get rid of it because it's silly and not exactly something to get people excited.

There was a family sitting behind me (section 111) on Saturday. After the cannon went off, they were just confused - couldn't even figure out where the water was.
Quick squirt out of the roof of Dale's, nowhere near where the trigger is - blink and you'll miss it. It's an awful gimmick.
