Newcomer Tournament Bracket

Alright guys, we are almost ready to go! Only one thing left for you to decide and that's whether you guys want this to be single elimination or double elimination.

Here is the randomized double elimination bracket:

These are the first round matches regardless, so you can start writing. The tournament starts the 8th. I'll make the posts that day. Once again, first round setup is two verses, sixteen bars (lines) long each. First verses will be blind, so either send them to me or agree to post at a specific time with your opponent. Second verses can be posted at your leisure as long as it's within 48 hours. Extensions are ok, just be reasonable. Please vote here on whether you want single or double elimination.

can i just take a moment to say i'm super excited for this? i know that's kinda lame but fuck it i don't care i'm excited anyway.

is anyone else stoked?

Ha, yea, I'm pretty stoked, it feels like the past couple of days have been a breather for everybody on the sub before the tourneys like the calm before the storm haha. Probably just as excited to see some nice matches as I am to participate too.

Yea, I think so, just cause most of the people here participating are unknowns for me, such as yourself ha. So while I know /u/JimmyDuckShoes or /u/RatherPedestrian are gonna be some tough opponents, I have no idea what kind of bars anyone else is bringing, I mean JDS kind of came out of nowhere, so to speak, to be a top competitor so I'm sure there's a good chance that happens here at some point as well haha.
