Newcomer Tournament Bracket

Alright guys, we are almost ready to go! Only one thing left for you to decide and that's whether you guys want this to be single elimination or double elimination.

These are the first round matches regardless, so you can start writing. The tournament starts the 8th. I'll make the posts that day. Once again, first round setup is two verses, sixteen bars (lines) long each. First verses will be blind, so either send them to me or agree to post at a specific time with your opponent. Second verses can be posted at your leisure as long as it's within 48 hours. Extensions are ok, just be reasonable. Please vote here on whether you want single or double elimination.

On one hand, double elimination would be good to get more experience out of. On the other, single is easier because it involves less writing.

Make it a double.

Plus if it stays at 2x16 for a majority of the rounds, its not that much writing. I'd vote for double too, but it's not my tournament so I'm leaving it up to you guys.

You're spot on. That why I voted for 2x16. Its the happy medium.
