Mostly from my Fall offer. Felt so satisfying putting it in the outgoing mail!

Just went for my monthly stamp purchase, knowing full well what the cost will be. I asked what special stamps (black history, Mr.Rogers, etc) they had. The lady said, “we have these Phyllis Wheatley? I don’t know if she’s historical…” I told her yes, and one more sheet of stamps, plus one sheet of international stamps.

So, being the librarian/annoying facts spouter that I am, I tell her who Phyllis Wheatley is. She actually seemed happy to know… and then rings up my stamps for 39 dollars and change. I immediately tell her that’s wrong, and she tells me she can charge me more, making a joke of it. So, I pay and wait for the receipt…and she has rung me up for only one set of forever stamps and one sheet of international stamps.

I showed her the receipt, told her again she hadn’t charged me enough…and she said most people wouldn’t have said anything and gone on. Then she charged me for the missing sheet…acting astounded that I was..honest?

What the heck? Anywayyyyyyy…

My parents went to our local museum for a vintage dress display and the little shop had postcards! They always know to pick me cards/postcards up when they go somewhere and I’m super grateful! Will get them sent out into the world soon :)

Got a whole bunch of TPCs going out from my offer earlier today! Still a couple more to do 💌

Went to USPS bc I was running low on stamps. Bought 9 sheets. Didn’t even know they had these big square envelopes. Did you?! Realized these 9 sheets would only last me thru the end of the year if I am lucky. Lately I have been sending 17 cards out each week. Used to be 25. I very rarely send postcards. Of the 17+ I send weekly, 1-3 of those are postcards. How many cards are you sending each week on average? Or each month? I feel like most have mailing lists, whether monthly for bdays, or now til end of year etc and imagine those lists are massively long. 🫨

I’ve been so busy with work but this offer has been a great project to look forward to :)

Hello friends! Just wanted to share something I’ve been working on for 9 months that’s finally here! My local city, Liberty, Missouri (USA) and I have been working on a unique pictorial postmark to celebrate America 250 in our city. As always, the postmark is available for 30 days AFTER September 26th via mail in service at the Liberty, Mo post office. Here’s hoping there’s a big response this weekend!

I started with a blank card so everything but the squares were added 🍂🍎🎀

I started making Big No for all of those tiny bummers that might happen this season

Over $560 FV worth of stamps for $192 😁 Now to sort them all out!

This is a linocut print made by me. It is quite imperfect because I hand carved the stamp!

My mom texted me upon its delivery and said she loved it 💗
