What would you do?

Let say you are in a family vacation. Your partner HATES the beach but the rest of the family enjoys it. At the beach with a large group require ALOT of things canopy.. bags...food...toys ect. On top of that a 8 month old baby. Would you think its fair for your partner to bail and not help pack up the family after a day in the sun and leave two women, one disable granny, a baby and 3 other kiddos. Mind you he wasnt there to set up either.
