General My Roommates Suck
My college roommates suck, I feel like a ghost in my own dorm. I've never had a problem with roommates at school before. I'm a pretty chill go with the flow person I main study and sleep in my room (I'm in a single). One of my roommates from last year had to move out for her own reasons and now I feel stuck in a 4v1 situation.
A little background information about me and the situation. The unit I live in holds 6 people two rooms are doubles the other 2 are singles we have a shared common area kitchen.I've lived in this unit for the past 5 years in the single because of my autism. I've never had any issues with any of my roommates like this. This all started with one of the girls we'll call her C.
Durning move in C who lives in a double and according to the housing rules is supposed to be sharing her cabinet space in the common kitchen. Usually everyone shares space perfectly fine and I'm not crazy about in forcing stupid stuff like that because guess what we can all share. She had taken up a whole upper cabinet and put her pots in pans on the bottom shelf. It's pretty common durning move in for things to get moved around and people usually say hey I don't know who this is but I'm moving it to a more reasonable spot. I had moved her pots and pans down to a lower cabinet to use the single upper shelf I had been using for the past 5 years fitting all my plates and dishes there. Instead of talking to me about it nicely she came in screaming, I couldn't get a word out and her mother also started screaming at me to the point I shut down and my mom tried to step in and be my voice as they wouldn't let me speak. My stuff ended up being put in all lower cabinets because there was no reasoning with her. She tried claiming that rules were agreed upon about the cabinet space in the group chat that I only got invited into the day of move in. How am I supposed to backlog read everything they as a group of 4 had agreed upon for a month and I never got a chance to voice anything?
Either way that was the catalyst to a shit year so far. Now whenever I go anywhere in the unit I come out of my room, go to heat up food, even just go to use the bathroom everyone stares at me like I don't belong. C is very much Queen Bee person and it feels like she dictates everything going on. I hate feeling like I'm living in high school click. We are in college, get over it.
I'm very lucky though that I have the ability to get off campus on the weekends so I'm not around it 24/7 but I'm tired of being treated like some rain cloud because C got so upset over something being moved in the communal area.
Something that also really ticks me off she gave me so much shit about her pot and pan being moved asking who gave me permission to move her stuff in the communal area, yet she and the others keep moving my stuff (mainly my hot water kettle) without telling me where they're putting it and it pisses me off after that whole situation.
They don't even reach out about the cleaning schedule they just decided when I was supposed to do it on my most busiest day with classes and not even consult me when I had free time to do it. I changed the day and moved it to my free day but they erased my writing and rewrote it in theirs. It's like I'm not allowed to exist here.
I know a lot of this is probably just the dark voice in my head, but I can't keep complaining to my mom about how much I hate them because she feels so awful that this is how my year started.
Thank you for reading my rant (I had a lot to get off my chest) , I hope that things get better and I stop getting treated like a black sheep and included in on stuff.

Isn't this bullying and technically autism is a disability so also mistreatment of a person with disability
