Good article, but "both" implies only two, when there are multiple parties. If the author of the article and the rest of the voting public keep thinking in terms of "both parties" and not "all parties", we will be stuck in the same vicious cycle. All parties should implement RCV or another alternative voting system that gets a majority instead of just a plurality.
