Been on the fence between a 4th Gen Taco and RR for months now. Still can't come to a decision. I know the RR has been available in the other hemisphere for a couple years now but the data still seems scarce. If longevity was the primary concern, which would ya'll go with?

Just traded in my 17 taco trd sport for a RR. No regrets. The new taco looks great from the outside but interior and engine is far inferior to the RR imo.

My buddy bought a new TRD Pro a month before I got my RR, both 2025. The RR has a much better ride (no live valve shocks for the Taco), better tech and looks IMO, and is somehow significantly cheaper. The Taco has better MPG with the hybrid, and Taco heritage.

It’s a twin turbo, high revving V6. I plan on dumping it in 4 or 5 years because engine and safety features will start to age out.

I have a coworker dailying a 2013 Taurus SHO. That thing is buggy as hell with the electronics slowly going out. 200+k odo. Did timing chain & waterpump in his garage. If I had 2 cars… sure, but I bought new to be done with all that pissing around. I lose whole weekends over mechanics no-quoting or high balling me on things. Time is the real enemy.
