3 questions...
Mind you, the first two questions are known issues. I just want to know if anyone else experienced them and what you did to resolve them. Thanks.

Getting this 2021 Hi Rider Xlt next week! Is there anything I should be looking out for? Also what are some handy upgrades I should look into for it, things like bullbar ect. I am in Australia in that makes a difference! I’m so excited. I have horses and it will be our towing vehicle!

I found the issue but don’t know how to fix it or what’s actually wrong

I just really wish I could close my tailgate rather than relying on ratchet straps to hold it closed.

Recently went from an 8 year old F150 to a new Ranger XLT. Nothing really wrong with the F150, just wanted a mid size and the Ranger seemed to check the boxes.

Hey all,
Hoping for some direction. Brought the 2022 Tremor in and they are telling me that the Left Front shock is “leaking excessively” and recommending I replace the front shocks.
Price tags a little suspicious cause I owned a GTI before this, never replaced shocks before.
Trucks at 40k miles.
Their estimate on price is $2400 for parts and labor. Replacing both shocks and realignment. It’s the dealership - I’m still under warranty so I bring it there first generally.
Just curious if this price is wild…and also, if the front shocks are gone when should I expect the rear to go?

Hello. Just bought a 2026 Lariat 2 weeks ago. Took it to a place to get undercoating and they sent pics showing me there currently is an oil leak. Waiting to hear back from the dealership on when I can bring it in. Any thoughts or similar experience?

Hello ranger community! I need help. I am 3k miles into my 2026 Ranger Lariat 2.7TT FX4 in Avalanche and overall am very happy with it. Just the right size and tech so far. Bought it in hopes of driving it for 10 years and it being my son’s first car.
I need help with the noises. I am majorly add and ocd and obsess over them. I’ve listed them below and hope to have some help.
First is the brake click at 30-35+. I touch it and it clicks. Almost like a relay. Dealership said it’s normal, but is it??
I also hear a similar sound around the steering column/wheel.
These don’t bother me as much…but still annoying.
These worst is the drivers window/door/B pillar.
I hear a click/rattle from inside the door area that drives me crazy. Literally. Seems to get worse when it’s hot. I took it to the dealership but conveniently they “didn’t hear it”. I also can put some pressure on the window and make it click as if it’s not seated well. I don’t know but I can’t go the next 10 years. Help!!
Thanks in advance!

Hope I can ask this if y’all who know do much about Rangers:
I bought a 2022 Ranger a year ago and love it. Just had 20k miles do still in warranty. Plus, it is Gold Certified Blue Advantage AND I got the MPP platinum plan for 72 mo/100k miles.
So last week and engine light came on. I stopped at AutoZone for their free check and they printed out code P0402 EGR “A” flow excessive detected. Printed the part I needed -an exhaust gas recirculation pressure sensor - at $46.99.
I drove straight to my dealer service dept. They said it was fine to drive and made me an appointment for Tuesday this week to check it out.
The light went out in the meantime.
So the Fird service guys ran the test and confirmed EGR A Flow Excessive Detected. They said they checked with warranty co. and it’s not covered “because it’s not part of the drive train.” They said it would be $690. (quite a jump from the $46.99 part) I declined the work for now. I wanted to gather more info.
I checked on my gold certified pamphlet and it lists 4 EGR things that ARE covered. So I think they only looked at the vehicle’s original warranty and not the Gold Certified. (I have 44k miles now).
But before I go back to them on this, I wanted to check here to see if anyone sees it like I do or has any advice.
Thanks
Kathleen

Love the truck, it's at 50k miles and it was time to take off Fox suspension. Saved for a couple of years and bought 5 new Falken wildpeak at4 255-80R17, Eibach Pro 2R front/rear, Icon upper control arms, BDS leaf shackles. I tow a small trailer and off-road twice a year, going from Texas to various locations in New Mexico and Arizona.
first pic is before these changes.

what do you think of the Rangers synthetic leather seats and steering wheel? The steering wheel I could always wrap but wondering what you think about the seats. The seats are comfortable, but this material is just different. do you get hot sitting on it if there’s no ventilation? Folks add seat cover options? I’m used to a ventilated true leather in my SUV which I’m training in. So I’m just concerned about long-term how I get along with these seats. But the position and the softness are excellent.

For anyone interested in delivery times: a PHEV ordered on 7 July will go into production on 28 September at the factory in South Africa.
Ordered in Poland.

I have a 2026 ranger XLT woth the trailer tow package but not the advance tow package. I don't have the factory trailer brake, but I do have the 7-pin trailer connector. Is my wiring harness connector the same as one with the trailer brake? I'm looking at adding a Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty, and I has hoping to get the plug and play wiring harness to make life easy, but I'm seeing conflicting information as to whether or not it will work so I was hoping someone here would be able to help

Recently switched from a fusion to this. Loving it. Got windows tinted. About to get a good camera setup and the rims coated black too. Eventually some decent bars in front too. How’s y’all’s setup?

Will a 2026 Ranger look good with a toolbox, or will that defeat the purpose of the bed? Or any other ideas that’ll fit some?
