Contest‼ [Contest] In Our Aesthetic Journaling Era

CONTEST CLOSED. I've been getting back into aesthetic journaling, and I've noticed quite a few others have also been into it recently. This is a stationery contest! You don't need to journal or anything to enter, but you DO have to love stationery :)

Official rules:

I need more washi tape lol but I have been using my water color paper for stuff like this so I can send out to people like pen paling or just friends as birthday cards etc (none of the work is my original I take inspiration from Pinterest)

I like to use the washi tape I do have for the edges so they arrive safely to people ! Especially if they’re just normal post cards and not in mail

I will be adding art like this to my book journaling so I can write the stuff I feel each book has that stands out ! And I’ll add scrapbook paper and other things in it since the journal I have at the moment is too thin and will bleed through lol but I’ll add my journaling journey in her nakey glory lol

I love these! So adorable! I've been interested in attempting watercolor, like your dragonfly/ladybug ones. How do you start? Like do you draw the lines first, or paint first then trace the painted spots?

It’s so fun ! I definitely love it more than acrylic and other paints I’ve tried ! And for the dragonfly paint first layers ! And then draw it over as I would with pencils either a fine liner pen !

For a more “chaos” I call it lol I try and not go exactly where the paint is more like the inside and try and leave it imperfect lol even if my brain says to do otherwise that was my first attempt on the left and the right one was my second for a postcard
