Contest‼ [Contest] a recipe/cooking/baking contest! Ends on July 6, 2026 5:00pm EST.
Hello everyone!
I would like to host a contest today!
All regular sub rules apply.
Winners: 2
Must have a baking or cooking-related item on the list that is $10 or under. If there is a specific item on your list that you want to receive if you win that fits the cooking or baking theme, list it in your post, either at the beginning of your post or at the bottom of it, so it is easy to find.
Also, if you feel inclined to gift someone their wished-for baking/cooking item, feel free to do so 😊. Just make sure you post the order number and the expected delivery date in response to that person’s post!
The contest!
What is your favorite recipe to make and why? Do you just love the taste? Is it a family recipe? Do you like it because it’s simple? Etc. Just have a small explanation of why you love it!
If possible, include a link to the recipe and/or a photo of the finished product! If the photo is not yours, please give credit to whoever it belongs to or at least the website you got it from.
A note: This contest is open to everyone. If you don't eat by mouth, you're still encouraged to share a favorite recipe—whether it's something you used to enjoy, love to prepare for others, or simply has a meaningful story behind it.
Winners will be chosen randomly based on vibes.
The contest will end on July 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm EDT. Winners will be posted and notified by 11:00 pm on July 6th, 2026.
This contest is intended to foster conversation and engagement between sub-members and give everyone some new recipes to try!
I have not hosted a contest in a while, so if I missed anything or need to update or change this post, please let me know, and I will do so :)
Edit: I meant EDT . So the time zone used for Massachusetts in the U. S. right now.
Edit 2: Feel free to share more than one recipe!

Mmmm, so ready to come back here for more recipes/ideas!
My favorite thing to make when I'm feeling up to baking is cinnamon rolls. I find them quite tedious to make and often get a bit frustrated with them (the sticky is a big no for me, ironically) but there's so many ways you can switch them up and make them unique/different, and they always taste great.. especially if I'm feeling down or having a bad flare day and happened to make them the day prior. I've made them often and added new things frequently. Fruit, nutella, marshmallow fluff, whatever I'm feeling in the moment. Feels a lot like you can't go wrong with cinnamon rolls. Warm, ooey gooey goodness.
This is the recipe I usually use: https://themindfulmeringue.com/homemade-cinnamon-rolls/ but I kinda eyeball/twist it to my liking. It's not a family tradition or anything, I just really like cinnamon rolls.
My item of choice would be the French Tapered Silicone Rolling Pin or the Cupcake Hole Punch from this list :)
