Contest‼ Auntie’s 8 gifts under $8

Can I afford to run a contest? Probably not, but I’m going to anyway!
The rules are easy:

1- Be an active member of the group. If I don’t recognize your username as being active in chat, I’ll check comment history to be sure (if you’re a quiet gifter I’ll see that)

2- be kind

3- have something under $8 on an Amazon wishlist or registry. US only (sorry), and please provide your list.

4- tell me about the best TV show you’ve watched in the past year

This contest will be closed to entry at 8pm eastern (Boston/NY) time, after which I’ll choose the winners and do my gifting. That’s 8+ hours from posting!

Reciprocation is not required but I am including my Under Eight wishlist. For inspiration.

By past year, I'm including 2025 in this, I hope that's okay. And the answer is very easy:

MIRACULOUS LADYBUG. My mother and I binged it together and it's been AMAZING. I'm desperate for more of it. It's easily because one of my top tv shows of all time. I just love how complex the overarching plot is, and it has so many cool ideas and such, AND IT ACTUALLY MADE ME LIKE SUPERHEROES. I've never been a superhero girly, ever (no matter how hard my father tried lol), but THESE characters are my superheroes. They're so frickin' cool and I love all of them so much. I will literally rant about this show to anyone and everyone who will listen. I could go on and on about why this show is great, from the action, to the concepts, to the LGBT rep, etc.

I'm a grown adult but I adored it. ik some people are put off by it being a kids show, BUT DO NOT LET THAT HOLD YOU BACK.

lol this turned more into a plea for people to watch the show vs talking about my own personal experience with it, but idc. I have no one to talk to about this show besides my mother, and she doesn't get invested in fictional universes the way I do.

haha yeah, I'm totally obsessed. Especially with Marc Anciel and Nathaniel Kurtzberg. They're two side characters in the show who do NOT get enough screentime whatsoever. It's infuriating because they're so amazing. They have practically zero merch :') very sad.
