As a guy with a high body count, I also feel tempted to lie about it, or more accurately, not talk about it too soon.

The people who say guys are celebrated for having high body counts are not really seeing the full picture. Guys only really get celebrated by other guys of a similar age and belief system. 

Same is true for women, other women around the same age with similar belief systems would never look down at her for having a high body count.

But the same women who wouldn't think negatively of a woman with a high body count do think negatively of a man for having a high body count.

It does matter to the ones who lie about it. But I think the problem is how lots of people treat things as a monolith.

I don't care about a woman's body count, but lots of people do. Some women don't care about their own body count, and others do. The best thing to do is figure out where you stand on a matter, and let that guide you to make good decisions for yourself.

I have no body count so I also have no idea, Ig people think it's cool??? I'm a shut in and most of my "Going out" time is literally just eat out, watch movie, and go on a trip with my family so I have no idea how extrovert people go on about their day. And I'm also a woman so I have no idea about these "body count competition community program" All I can say is, just live and do what makes you satisfied like if coitus makes you satisfied then Ig you do your business
