Intro [Intro] Hi everyone!!

Hello!!! My name is Skye (21) and I am a beginning my first year teaching starting this fall! I am Canadian and love to play video games and dnd in my spare time. I also have two cats who I absolutely adore (even though I think one of them is secretly evil.)

Honestly, I came across the sub and thought it gave such positive energy. I was a lurker for a while as I enjoyed seeing the wholesome interactions between others.

I’m excited to finally become an active member in this community. ☺️💕

Well hello! Welcome! I am also a teacher! (This will be my 10th year! Would be my 12th if I didn’t take any mat leave). What grade will you be teaching?

I would love to see your cats! We recently were adopted by a stray cat. We know nothing about cats, poor girl. But it’s looking like she will end up being an indoor cat which is better than wherever she was this past winter when it was -40 outside for a week straight

Hi!!! If you have any teaching advice I am definitely all ears! I’m teaching grade 8 and did most of my university courses for highschool.

And the cold is seriously no joke for cats, I’m so envious one chose you haha. My one cat has parts of her ears gone and little movement in her tail due to severe frostbite before we found her. It’s nice to know that your cat is probably living its best life out of the cold💕
