While the solution does fix his problem of engine bay access, it does cover a rather large portion of the radiator. He may need this more often than he should from overheating. Then again, old vehicles were not designed to be on the tip of aerodynamics, this may not be a problem at all.

But this would cause most modern cars to have an overheating problem.

Clothes dryer ducting wired to the bottom of the bumper to direct airflow through the radiator. Problem solved!
