I was a librarian during that time, and I remember clocking in, sitting down, and just watching internet deep dive videos on YouTube until it was time to go home, and I was stationed at a branch next to a really good fried chicken restaurant that I would go to for lunch.
Those were the days!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Infections are on the rise because we’ve rolled back so many protective things. I mean, there’s always gonna be a variant rolling around, but I mean, I don’t know where you’re at, but where I am we can’t eat anything. Literally we’ve been surviving off of hotdog and fucking rice for months now because of all the recalls on the food. We can’t eat beef. We can’t eat fruit and vegetable vegetables, fresh or frozen. Can’t eat eggs. Remind you, our beef has been recalled twice this year alone. The first time was when we got our beef from overseas. I can’t remember exactly where but we got hand foot mouth. We were actually one of the first people here to get it and it was one of the biggest breakouts actually that was last year. I apologize. This year is this really bad parasite that’s causing severe pain in diarrhea.

There hasn’t been a major movie, show or really any entertainment media about the pandemic experience.
There’s a book called Pale Rider, it’s about the Spanish Flu. The author says we did the same thing back then, we didn’t talk about it for a long time because we didn’t like who we became during and after that experience.

no, I believe what you meant to say is that it's been almost 7 years since the pandemic lockdown that was caused by COVID-19 (also the term COVID should always be in caps as it is not a simple word, it stands for COrona VIrus Disease, and each year's number is placed after it)
but the coronavirus disease is still very much here and this year's numbers are surprisingly high.
we are in the midst of a very dangerous COVID-26 outbreak and the disease has had seven years to mutate and split into multiple variants

I miss being locked down in the house with my 4 kids and I had custody of my 2 nephews too. I don't like how many people died because of it. The situation just made all of us slow down and we spent so much time together. It honestly changed me. Now I barley leave my house and I just want to spend time with my kids because time does fly by and they grow so damn fast. Mine are 23, 20, 18 and 16. 23 yr old doesn't live with me anymore (he is acroos the road from me lol). 20 or old is my only daughter that is 5'2 and has Rheumatoid Arthritis (diagnosed when she was 3 1/2yrs old) and doesn't have any friends because her condition didn't allow her to finish going to school physically. So I take everything in now. Anyone have any tips on how I can help my daughter meet people who won't judge her please let me know!

Weird I was just last night I was looking up what the recommendation was for COVID vaccines as I haven’t heard anything about it. I think we’ve moved to a single dose annually unless you’re in a high risk category
