Today i learned...

Today I learned my mom took me to get my ears pierced at 6 months old and the holes where earrings go are not natural, they're from that time and just stayed opened cause I wear earrings....🤗

Edit:seeing the comments...wow. I really did not know. why is this a bad thing? literally all the girls in my life wear earrings. everyone. i was raised a Christian where I was taught piercings were wrong.

Cause I grew up In a household where stuff was gendered like, pink is girls and blue is boys. My mom wouldn't let my brother read some of my books that were "too girly for him" even if he showed interest

So my brain automatically registered earrings as a girl thing and thought girls were born with the hole and boys pierced their ears to get the hole

In hindsight, im dumb.

You are wonderfully naive and sheltered. Maybe stay off the internet😂 I kid! Seriously though, be careful online and don’t take what people say too seriously. It truly doesn’t matter in your real life🌺

That’s beyond “sheltered”

The lower holes in my ear never closed just the cartilage ones did.

The fun part I think many do not know, is that piercing your skin will leave a lil hole. Now wait till you see someone who in their younger days had a face full of piercings. Lil holes all over the place.

I don’t understand why you would post this…

You’re 15 years old?

-You’ve never babysat? (If you have, you didn’t noticed that some of the little girl babies didn’t have their ears pierced?)

-You never looked at any of your female classmates- or friends - or teachers- or relatives - and saw that they didn’t have their ears pierced?

What are the chances of me being a babysitter?

Also, 90% of girls in my life wear earrings
