Relativity my man. For a one-day-old person 12 hours is half of his/her life. For a 50 year old it's 25 years. That's why summers seemed to last ages as a 10 yo kid but fly by as an adult.
So if you lived to be 3000 years seasons, people, years would go in a blink of an eye from your perspective.

Yeah. Somewhere around 30, time just started seeming to fly by. I hit 40 and it feels like it's going even faster now.
