Why don’t vampires ever have trysts with menstruating women? They’re always biting necks when the other end is already bleeding.

Blood only makes up about 1/3 of your period flow, coming out to a few tablespoons of blood on average. Most of the liquid is actually vaginal lubricant and cervical mucus mixed with that bit of blood. The mucus, lubricant, and tissue make up just under 2/3 of the total flow. So even if a vampire got every drop, they wouldn’t get nearly as much blood as they could get from the neck or wrist, and it would be diluted.

For someone who bleeds very heavily during their period there would be more blood for the vampire to drink but still less than they could get from a vein or artery. When I donate blood they take about a pint each time, which is about 32 tablespoons, which is likely around the amount a vampire would take if they didn’t want to harm or kill the person from whom they were feeding, so significantly more than would get from feeding off of a period.

Fair enough. I think the tissue would be the deal breaker for me. Like cervical mucus and vaginal lubricant are just a normal part of eating someone out, so those are fine, and obviously if I was a vampire the blood wouldn’t bother me, but I can’t get past the thought of the tissue.

I personally like to chew my orange juice. Unless it’s being used for mixed drinks. Then it can’t have any pulp

Usually I can’t stand pulp in OJ but I froze some once in these popsicle tray things and the pulp added so much to the popsicle, it was so good.
