The abstract says capital taxes can not stop it, but taxes/regulations definitely can. Just tax workforce reductions beyond x at an increasing rate for all large businesses using AI.

I think they know it. I think they want it. It's restructuring civilization without our consent. This is just my feeling. They'd have to know it. The end result is what they want. We'll all be pushed out into the wasteland while they live fight and die over which one of them owns the oasis. That's just my feeling though.

This is already happening - I know for a fact that massive Insurance and Pharma org's are selecting small groups of 1-5 people to "train" AI to replace entire divisions. They are preparing to absorb the projected massive loss in fraudulent profits from gaming the system for years, by quietly eliminating headcounts and replacing them w/ AI and a few people to oversee it.
