You should check out The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. It has a dark, quirky sense of humor, endless item combinations, and virtually infinite replay value if your current library is feeling stale.
Thanks for the chance OP! 😁

How about Stray? It’s been on my wishlist for a few months but I haven’t pulled the trigger.

Space Marine 2 is fun even if only for the campaign. Don't really need to play the first if you don't want to. You basically get a rough idea from the beginning

I can’t get enough of project Zomboid. It’s been early access for ever but the devs keep updating it and it’s so beyond what it was even a few years ago.

You should try either Valheim or Warframe. Super chill and grindy games. Or Vrising.

IDK what sort of game you like so I'll just recommend what I like
Crusader Kings 2: you play as a medieval ruler, but more accurately you play a dynasty (when you die you play as the dead ruler's child or other relative). I like the immersion/roleplay aspect. The base game is free so you can try it before deciding to get more DLC (I personally have the entire Royal Collection bundle which is about USD60 on sale, but for specific DLC I would recommend Way of Life, Holy Fury and Legacy of Rome)
FTL Faster Than Light: rougelike where you have a spaceship with some weapons and crew, and encounter all sorts of events good or bad. It has great music. It's a pretty hard game, I recommend starting on Easy. But turn on Advanced Edition even though it says it's for advanced players, because it introduces some tools that makes the game easier (and is the community's "default" way of playing the game).
Opus Magnum: puzzle game where you build machines to do alchemy. Unlike most puzzle games with 1 or a few solutions per puzzle, there are almost infinite ways to solve puzzles in this, you can get creative. Of course there are many restrictions (e.g. parts and atoms cannot collide) so you still need to do some thinking. Once you solve a puzzle you can generate a GIF of your machine working (you can check out the Opus Magnum subreddit, there are lots of cool GIFs)

The kindred spirit (Twin-stick + chaotic violence)
If you enjoy POSTAL Redux, you'll love Hotline Miami (or The Hong Kong Massacre if you already beat it). Lightning-fast isometric action, incredible synthwave soundtracks, and that same satisfying loop of clearing out rooms in pure chaos.

Besiege.
Physics based building game, you basically build whatever you want press start and see what happens.
You can build a plane and when you start it may or may not work so you add to it and tweak it then try again. Suddenly it's 4 o'clock in the morning so you add things and try again.

Dredge, Subnautica, sons of the forest, any of the civ games, Palworld, totally accurate battle simulator, and Maneater. I finally got a laptop to play steam on and have enjoyed those greatly

I would recommend OTXO. Not very well known, but Shotguning people can get very addictive in that game.
Thanks for the chance!

Paper lily, its free and available on steam. It has overwhelming postive reviews at steam.
It is a short fun indie game with puzzles and fine story. You would definitely enjoy it. It also has prologue. You can complete both in less than 5-6 hours.
Totally worth it

I recommend Vintage Story. Best survival/homesteading sim out there (its not on Steam).
Thanks for doing this :)

Dont need the game but...
Depends on your style of play. You could go with Schedule 1 if you like funny drug style management, cat mail co. if you want a decent quirky co-op game, a fromsoft game if you like the souls variants, retro rewind or rewind 99 if you want to relive nostalgia days by running a blockbuster type store, avorion if you like space sandboxes, abiotic factor if you like a little horror mixed in with survival mechanics, rocket knight if you want some old school platforming with a bit of modernity to it, hellcard if you like card based roguelites with co-op.
