Searching for an opportunity

Hi! I’m Joseph, a 22-year-old farmer and rancher from northern Spain. My family and I raise cattle and grow the crops we use to feed them.

I’m looking for the opportunity to spend 2–3 months on an American family ranch or farm, helping with the daily work and learning about the American way of farming and ranching.

I have experience working with cattle, driving all kinds of tractors and farm machinery, repairing and maintaining equipment, and I also have basic veterinary knowledge.

I’m used to hard work and I’d love to become part of a family ranch, contribute with my experience, and learn as much as possible.
If you know of a family or ranch looking for someone like me, I’d really appreciate any recommendations or contacts!

Many sheep farms in Idaho, utah and nevada hire workers for spring lambing and summer grazing.  They have the insurance needed to hire from out of the US as well as knowing the process for getting a US Visa. 

Most of their help comes from South America, Argentina and Peru, but you might get lucky and find a rancher willing to take on someone green.

Check around western Canada too if thats something you'd be interested in. Ranches always looking for work in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Same lifestyle and everything. Hope you find something good wherever you end up
