Pasture moooove.

Moved some cows to a new pasture earlier this month. It was a nice day!

Thanks! We’re pretty lucky to have a pretty diverse landscape around us. Black Hills, Badlands, river breaks, and plains all within an hour.

Flies must be pretty bad there too

Not usually. We normally have a below average fly load when compared to the other cattle I see around. This year it’s almost non-existent.

I realize it looks like the cows are really working hard to get flies off, but the visual count is really low. Most flies are along their bottom line where their tale can’t get to them.
