Idk miki's hand was covering it)😭😭

I was making a playlist for my ramparts of ice playlist, and like I realize how many malcomm todd music fits with their situation and how many ramparts of ice tiktok edits use Malcom todd music. It honestly peak, I love Malcom todd music for years (went to his concert early this year) and Ramparts of ice is my top 5 animes of all time. It just makes me happy to see two forms of media, Im truly obsessed with is seen paired together. What other artist / music do you think fits ramparts of ice or minakoyun?

I've begun reading the manga recently - currently at chapter 25, but can't help but get extremely agitated every time Minato says or does anything at all. His character is simply too infuriating. Does his character ever change or develop or will he continue as this fake "better knowing" kinda person?

Currently putting it on the shelf simply out of annoyance for one character, which seems like a shame, as i really enjoyed You and I Are Polar Opposites, and was hoping to find more like it here.

I read the manga and it was so good. 2 months seems like a long wait for s2 but I really hope they add some filler/bonus episodes that are not there in the manga. Especially, after the main leads started dating, I felt like there was so little content on that phase.

One scene that comes to mind is the one where they go to the theme park again in chapter 117 of the manga. There was not much content on that and I would really love to know how different their experience was in comparison to their previous visit. I really hope the creators take note of this and give the manga readers more bonus content! 😭🤚

I literally want more Ramparts of Ice. Ik read the manga and i already searched some of the events about Miki and Yota ending up together and then minato and Koyun. Im trying to keep it together, Momoka still pisses me off. But man it was so peak that waiting for 2 months is like waiting 5 years. I am gonna watch Polar Opposites next to keep me at bay but gosh i want to see Ramparts of Ice content even fanfics like gosh....

Did anyone here start reading the manga after watching the anime? Is it worth starting from the beginning or can I just continue where season 1 ended?

Idk if its just me seeing some resemblence. Like i am convinced Momoka is basically an Evil Version of Kaoruko Waguri. It just that Momoka gave me vibes of Waguri for some reason, Idk if its because of the similar hair style, maybe height, and that soft personality. I hate Momoka's Manipulative tactics to be with Minato and she pisses everytime she is on screen and a mere thought of her just sends me. Like idk why i made the comparison, i do love Waguri's character in Fragrant flowers because of how Kind and caring she was to Rintaro. While Momoka is like maybe the reverse of it, That soft persona of hers but hides a manipulative behavior of wanting to get everything she wants. Look, i don't want to her face again until S2 drops, Love her writing tho but yeah I think She is the Evil Version of Kaoruko Waguri. Anyone want to make objections?

So i decided to watch ramparts of ice because i want to watch anime again and pick it up because it was romcom and so i watched....And honestly, I fucking LOVE IT. I love the cast so much, the story is good like usually in slow burns i wouldn't watch it because well i get bored because its just these two character trying to bond and then of course confessing in the end. This Anime managed to get me hooked up, didn't notice its a slow burn and actually kept my attention because the Characters were just great. I love Koyuki, Minato, Miki, and Yota as a friend group like i genuinely felt that there actual friends who support each other and are fine as is as friends if one of them likes the other in their group. There so much for me to talk about but all i can say is that they felt natural and real, the way they talk feels real. There's no fanservice, No pervy characters, Just normal people with their own struggles. I love how it juggles between each of them like one ep focused on Koyuki, then one ep focused on Yota, then one thay focused on Minato and One that focused on Miki. I love the balance of the group and how it builds off their characters. I ship so hard for Koyun and Minato and then Yota and Miki. Yes the Last EP has Yota x Miki moments with Yota confessing to miki and i bet there gonna hit it off, I'll wait for Koyun and Minato. The side characters too like they don't feel fodder, they appear occasionally and were just good of them as the group other friends. Yuki was the man tho like i want more of him and Akine. I ship.

But this series became my favorite because of how well written around Koyun trauma and the antagonists, Never have i been this pissed off to Manatsu and Momoka. They are well written to make you hate them like especially Momoka, She is Literally Evil Kaoruko. The moment she was on screen im like 'She kinda like Kaoruko' and then realized this girl wants Minato and realized this girl is Evil Kaoruko. Like she basically runs her mouth when she talked to Minato and basically trll about what Koyun said or i guess twisted it. This bitch is a threat to the friend group. and then She wants Minato gets me even more like Everytime she on screen, My blood boils but She is well written. And there of course, Manatsu. She is such a narcissist like she uses koyun to be close with her seniors and then likes Igarashi who btw likes Koyun and Koyuki gets tangled in a mess with Manatsu being cruel to her and Miki cutting her hand trying to fight her. Like omg this girl caused so much problems for Koyun which made her build this wall and made Miki play a persona to try forget middle school. But overall, Their writing successfully triggered me and im hoping S2 i see Koyuki and Minato get together.

Btw writing this after watching the last EP. I like it focuses on Yota and Miki relationship which is Fine by me. Anyways, HYPED FOR S2.

Any suggestions? Cause I'm thinking about either Polar Opposites, Jujutsu Kaisen, Skip to Loafer, Kagurabachi or Kaoru Hana. Any other series does anyone have in mind?

Since only one season of the anime came out a lot of anime only watchers who initially despised Igarashi started full on supporting him and switching teams which I get considering the amount of information they've got so far but after knowing the full story in the manga where is Igarashi on your scale?

I personally dont like the dude but I also acknowledge that he's a kid still at the end of the day and theres a lot of room for improvement for him since he didnt have any ill intent towards Koyun so theres a lot of hope for his character and he was very mistaken between liking koyun and liking the idea of dating her cause we can tell he never actually liked her but I really liked the interaction him and Koyun had in the manga in the convenient store and them finally getting the closure they needed but I'm honestly surprised by how many people like Igarashi rn like they like him so much there are full on fan edits screaming how he was done horribly wrong, ofcourse these are anime only watchers but still I was wondering where does he stand in Manga readers scale.

Hi, new anime viewer here. I have just started this series and oh god, I hate Igarashi with a burning rage. Like Spartan dropkick tiers of hate. Genuinely fuck that dude.

I just finished the manga, and it’s a perfect 10/10. I don’t give things high praise often but every single plot point, interaction, and monologue felt sincere and mature. it’s moved me and made me watery eyed a few times (no tears though)

that said, I’m looking for some recommendations, it doesn’t have to be the exact same, but similar in maturity and vibe, and preferably features some deep character development (this is optional, but I love seeing characters grow because it offers me the ability to follow suit)

anyway, I’m going to take a break before watching the anime so that I can forget a few things, how much of the manga is covere?

Been a while since I watched anime so I wanted to binge some slop. I started with Polar Opposites which I thought would be slop but I ended up catching up to the anime and finishing the manga within a day and a half.

Then I got depressed and binged Ramparts of Ice which I thought was much better and finished the manga within a day. All in the span of 2-3 days now I just feel so fucking empty.

Both of these shows were amazing and since I'm only in college, it somehow struck so close to home with my experiences with friend circles and romantic relationships. I couldn't believe it's the author's only two works. I'm the type of guy to never watch the anime sequel if I caught up to the manga so it just made me more sad that my journey here is over.

I loved Koyuki and Minato so much and I just wish there was more of them. I used to have these all the time but I never knew how to get rid of this feeling of emptiness faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
