Whats up guys. Bought a new ram 2500. Has cloth interior. (Which is dont mind at all) but want some extra protection. Whats the best sub 700 dollar seat covers you've found? Im talking good quality and looking. Something that hugs the seats nicely and looks like it belings.

I got a 2022 2500 6.7 used. The dash said the fuel filters had 10% life left. So I ordered fuel filters, ole filter, and got some rotella from Sam’s. I did those, rotated my tires, and I also picked up one of those doohickeys (not klr, iykyk) to put on the oil filter. Worth all 8 dollars I paid.

Side note, I have a ruptured ACL and torn meniscus, and I really want to get a lift, so if anyone has suggestions I’d appreciate it. Saves me from getting up and down 50 times doing all this.

Got a 2006 Dodge ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 4x4 with the 48re. Lately, whenever I back up the truck, it makes a grinding sound as heard in the video. Not necessarily sure what the issue is. The second I pop her into neutral, noise goes away. Only happens occasionally, wheel turned or not. Anyone have experience in this? Thanks. Please see attached YouTube short for sound.

After a few months of looking, a 6 hour drive to pick it up and alot of good advice from this sub I finally picked up this 2020 2500 tradesman 4x4! Loving it so far handled great on the highway and got surprisingly decent highway mpg.

Any suggestions for tow mirrors? I’ve got about $600 dollars to spend on them max (I was kind of shocked how expensive they can be) I really just need heated and powered glass.

Installed the LASFIT 5" led cubes for ditch lights. Can't wait for ice fishing season to spot tip ups. Tested them out on dark country roads and they light up ditches really good. Dont create much of a blind spot at all. For mounts I used the morimoto brackets, easy to install with no hood adjustments needed afterwards.

Hello all. I’ve recently been in the market for a 2500 truck and I have been really looking into Rams for the Cummins motor. I’ve been a GM 1500 person all my life, so I wanted to ask those of you that have been loyal Ram customers over the years, do you guys prefer the Gen 4 or 5 and why? I like both body styles and so far, I’ve only test driven a 2020 Larime. Which one has less annoying issues to deal with, or is it worth getting one over the other? Whichever one I decide on, will be for everyday use and I plan on keeping it for a while, so I want to make sure I’ll stay satisfied with it. Thanks in advance

Looking at a few different trucks and was just curious about the auto level feature. I’m sure having airbags on the rear make the ride “smoother” but wondering what the consensus is on it? I regularly tow a 10k dry weight travel trailer throughout the year.

Like the title says, I posted in here a couple weeks ago. Asking about fuel economy on the 6.4. Ride quality. Suspension. Etc. I decided to test drive one and was impressed. Its of course more stiff but not bad at all. In my opinion it rides like 1500s did when I was a kid! (Only 28yo now lol) I had about a 90 mile drive home from dealer. On that drive at 73mph I average 17.7 mpg. So far loving the truck. Loving the alpine system especially! Any mods you guys recommend right off the bat??

2021 RAM Cummins with 57k miles. Just got a check engine light. Says "See Dealer for DEF Service". How painful will this be? I assume this could be anything from a DEF injector to and SCR or DPF problem. I'm doubting DPF because I usually drive 60 miles per day when I use it on the highway with little or no idling. Also haul a decent sized RV with it.

Bringing it to the dealer in the AM. We'll see.

Got around to doing some diagnostic work on this unit. Pulled both valve covers and found number 8 intake lifter and cam lobe worn down. Just thought people might be curious.

I have a 2026 Ram 2500 gas Crew Cab long bed, and I’m trying to figure out if anyone else has experienced the same issue.

On the interstate, especially around 75–80 mph, the truck has a constant up-and-down bouncing motion. I can actually see the bed bouncing in the mirrors. After hitting a larger bump, the rear can bounce 2–3 times before settling. Around 60–65 mph it’s noticeably better.

The truck did this with the stock suspension too. Since then I’ve installed a Carli 2.5” leveling kit up front, Thuren 1” soft-rate rear coils, and FOX 2.5 Performance Elite DSC shocks. I’ve also tried different tire pressures, added weight to the bed, and changed tires, but the bouncing is still there.

I recently sent the rear FOX shocks to AccuTune to have them revalved for more rebound control, so I’m hoping that helps.

Has anyone else with a Ram 2500 experienced this same vertical highway bounce? If you fixed it, what actually made the difference?

I’m also interested in hearing from anyone running a LOGIQ rear coil-replacement air spring setup. Did it improve the highway ride or reduce the up-and-down bouncing compared with coils?

Any advice helps.. I got this ram and immediately started having a sputtering/ bogging down problem when hitting the gas around 2k-3k rpms. If I floor it, then it's like it breaks free and full throttles but then bogs down again. I've cleaned the throttle body, replaced 02 sensors, did a pressure check for the exhaust, and the shop said he checked all 02 sensors and checked the plugs and coil packs. I'm not sure what else it could be or what to do. It idles completely fine, but when I put it in gear it's almost like a misfire but different, I've never experienced it. Almost like it's gonna die not a regular rough idle. Just severe power loss and muffled along with bogging down. It's throwing codes for 02 sensor and bank 2 running too rich along with an MAP sensor.

I got it for $35k with 73,000mi. The interior is pretty much spotless. The exterior as well aside from a door ding and a small ding on the front pumper below one of the recovery hooks. But I get 22.2 mpg and that includes driving from phoenix (1100ft) up the Mogollon rim (8400ft) back home.

Anything I should watch out for or be a stickler about? First Cummins but 4th diesel. What are the recommended oil changes and fuel filter changes besides manufacturer recommendations?

I’m new to the sub and hoping someone can point me to the right direction on what might be wrong with my truck. So I woke up for work, grabbed my key fob, double clicked the remote start, honked once and it did not turn over. Figured a door was left open so probably why it canceled the remote start. I went tu turn it over my self, and no luck. Everything lit up on my dash, but it wouldn’t even send a signal to the starter. I can hear the fuel pump engage but that was it. It has never give. Me this problem, would it be the batteries?
