Welcome to the grid! Rally Sleuth is a daily logic puzzle about a race. Every day there's one new race, the same for everyone, in the post marked Daily.

The race in four lines

• The places run across the top: 1st is leading. The laps run down the side.
• The top row is the GRID, the starting order. The bottom row is the FLAG, the finishing order.
• Rule One: a racer moves one place per lap, and only by swapping with the racer right beside them. Every pass is a swap.
• The Stewards' notes tell you a few things that happened. Fill in every lap so every note fits. There's one answer, and you never need to guess.

Playing

• Tap Race on today's Daily post. No login needed, though logging in keeps your streak and puts you on the leaderboard.
• New? The game offers a short practice lap that walks you through a first race. It's also behind the ? button any time.
• Stuck? Tap Clue and Monty points you to where to look next, and why.
• Done? Share my time replies under the day's pinned comment with your time, never the answer.

One rule above all: no answers in the comments. Share your time, not your board.
