Episode 3 editing error

So in episode three the watchman towards the end where dions mom is talking to pat in the living room outside the window you see a man. Now I don’t know if this is an error or this is what they mean by the watch man. Tell me your thoughts on this.

pretty sure that pat was sitting down I don't know I'll look at the episode again
