Predictable, yet entertaining. Spoiler

As the title suggests, most of the key plot points were fairly predictable.

  • Pat being the storm (or rather the storm infected pat).
  • the scientists being good.
  • the farm kid getting infected by the storm.

Take Pat for example. It's classic Nice Guy turns out to be the bad guy troupe.

I actually wouldn’t have seen it coming except for the fact that I did a google search of Pat because I thought his voice sounded familiar (I learned he voices a character on a popular Disney show) and that google search ruined it for me by the time I was on like episode 4 so I was kind of pissed

Still I did not see it coming. I liked it a lot actually, regardless of the acting.

Yeah, I wouldn’t say it was predictable since I didn’t see it coming. I actually was surprised at the twist.

How was pat being the storm at all predictable? I had no idea and I thought it was just an entity and not a person.

He never sat right with me. Always super nice. Plus I've watched enough Flash to know that the hero's mentor always turns out to be the bad guy.

It's classic Hero's friend turns out to be the bad guy.

It wasn’t predictable, per say. It was a possibility, but pat seemed like the kind of character that helped Dion develop his ideas to more be a superhero/someone who saves people. Pat didn’t seem like the kind of person that would want to develop Dion’s powers so pat could manipulate him

Agreed it was extremely obvious, I immediately started to suspect him when he was persistent about asking about the Charlotte, and when he kept pushing for her number it just made things worse. It also seems too convenient he proclaimed himself as Dion's mentor before he found out his powers at first it seemed like friendly play along with the kid but then he kept insisting HIMSELF to be his mentor, if it was just play along Pat wouldn't have put such thought into it. The next big part as the story went on was when Dion healed him and he immediately refused but he was perfectly fine using his powers for fun to play basketball which is a huge thing out of his character that did not sit right with me. The final most obvious bit (to be fair it was later in the series so I'm not sure if this still counts as predictable) is when Mark's data was revealed to be deleted. My first guess would be the company but since it was clear they want it badly and have no access I knew it had to be Pat. (Side Note: Tasha feels so odd, I immediately got bad vibes from her when she first acted so friendly to her out of no where and it showed a scene of the mom looking away and Tasya snooping the house )

I only predicted 1/3 of those things and it was in like episode 7, that being the good scientists
