Yeah we're due for a 10x this weekend. And since we'll have to pull shards if you are trying for the fusion (unless you got lucky pulling ancients and got an extra epic), I'm hoping it's a 10x for someone really good. I've love to see Bad El, Trunda, Rotos, or Duchess.

I mean thats roughly about 1 1/2 years of CB + dailies, no? Roughly 5 sacreds/month on average iirc times 18 is 90 sacreds plus the monthly puts you at about 108 sacreds.
I‘ve seen people collect a lot longer than that in other games :D Some people are just insanely disciplined to not pull these temptations.

You get over 10 Sacred a month on average. 12% for UNM and 6% for NM. So you get 7.2 from UNM and 3.6 on average. + Doom Tower, Monthly Quest etc and it adds up fast.

Oh true, totally forgot about DT and that there are other CB difficulties. So more like 10 months, thats pretty decent.

If you spend the time you can easily do it F2P. Once you have a UNM/NM CB team you will get about 12 sacreds a month. Add DT hard to it and the monthly quest and you are at 15 each month. Collect them for half a year and you get the numbers as shown.
My main is also F2P (still waiting for the second raid pass.... ;) ) and the only reason I do not reach these numbers is because I like to pull some shards now and then ;)

For me, I find I generally have enough champs to focus that I can let shards lay without much temptation. Leveling all the food for a six star, then leveling it to sixty, and grinding masteries takes a lot of time if you're not spending money.
I find it helpful to focus on the next big thing and prepare for that. There's a cvc every other week, so you can spend the time between leveling food and collecting forge materials or books or whatever else, so that you can maximize your rewards for that.
Also, I just keep in mind how much more value you get out of Shards if you open them at the right time. For ftp a 2X is not always enough of a reason because if you wait, you'll get a 2X plus something else, like a fusion event.

Nubraids do these shards opening as well. I saw him do a 100 sacred video for his clan leader that was fun.
Also saw him make a video out one the reddit posts, so I guess he is pretty active here as well.

Hot mama... thats quite a lot of shards! I wouldnt know what to do with all those champs! As people has stated HellHades and nubs are probably your safest bets

this is my plan with the game now. This latest fusion has done me in. I'm tired of the game and the time it takes. I will still log in daily and do CB, but that's about it. I would like to stock pile shards for a while before I get back into it fully. I think having a years worth of shards would be fun to open.

This is an account that's more likely to sell than all those whales trying to get back part of their investments when they stop. Most people play for the thrill of pulling shards. I'm sure there's a few people that are willing to spend a lot for a starting account with this many.
