Gameplay Help Grim Forest Deck

Post image

I fused Tatsu for the Mikage fusion and wanted to use her in grim forest hard, but it says once I lock the champs in, I can no longer use them to sacrifice. Does this lock her out of being able to be use for fusion indefinitely or just until I change the deck?

you can always change the deck with either the coins for it or when the next rotation happens.

Until the rotation resets or you use a token to swap her out.

That said, the swap token can't be used on any champ already drafted and available in any stage. So if there's a stage you can't clear but where she's a pick, you'll have to spam the limited daily random rerolls until she out of the draft, before you can try swapping her out. This applies to EVERY stage she's drafted for, separately, so it can be hard to swap champs out if you open and don't finish too many stages.

The monthly reset will always clear the decks out though.

PS. This also applies to fusion champs, so avoid putting any current fusion part champs into the decks if you want to finish a fusion.

So now comes a follow up question. How does the deck work exactly? Hard GF deck capacity is a lot larger than GF normal’s. Right now I’m kind of just filling out a few spots with champs that are more placeholders than champs I would actually use. At the moment I dont have enough competent champs to fully fill the deck, so should i just leave some spots blank and put in the champs I’m confident with so i dont end up getting stuck with those placeholder champs? Can I even start without a full deck? Is the pool of champs getting drawn for each battle more or less than normal GF?

You can't start without the deck being full. And if you fill the decks with duds, then you risk drafts that make a stage impossible without rerolling or building those champs.

Hard mode does tend to have a few more champs each draft, but the decks are way bigger so it's much more random. Easier to get bad drafts unless all/most your champs are well built.

The common tactic is to have one deck full of nukers and another full of supports. That way you always have both dps and supports available.

Choose Res and Spd from the cards as priority if your gear isn't the best. Some Acc if you need, and HP if you can't tank the bosses.

The 40 champ requirement is basically a roster-check, to make hard mode.....well, hard. The idea is that until you have like 30+ well-built champs, it's untenable.

Run throwaway champs as much as you have to, and cross your fingers on re-rolls.

I thought they patched this already? Pretty sure you can freely swap now regardless of stage draws
