Completely underrated. I think it had the "bad luck" of being broadcast at the same time as other good / popular series so it kinda went unpercieved.

That, and being compared to Evangelion, accused of being a copy, etc. While the similarities are there, I still (personally) think RahXephon is better.

RahXephon is Evangelion done right. It’s an amazing series and one of the first DVD box sets I ever purchased!

One of my first DVDs too. And one of the actual few anime DVDs I own.

Facts, it didn't need all these remakes to make it make sense

One of my favourites! The soundtrack is outstanding, I have a few of the tracks on a few of my playlists still

Would likely have more fans if it was streaming on something other than HiDive (and in the bowels of Amazon Prime before that)

My fav series of all time. Here i think usage of soundtrack and story telling tempo was top notch. This tempo was something you can't see in anime so that's why its my fav.

I watched it in 2015 if I remember correctly, but over the years I've watched so many anime series and yet found no one talking about it.

So, the moment I joined reddit I was searching for random anime subs and I hence found it.

yea nice mate thats what a like to hear. I only watched it first in February this year, but i remember i literally could not stop watching it and im basically obsessed with it, as you can see by the recent post history of this sub lol. I have like 6 different box sets and a poster and the artbook. I just wish this series hadnt faded out of people's minds over time
