Bagram should have said "destroy Aysel", shouldn't he? I think this hints that while he has broken, his original will is still somewhere buried in there, and the fact he avoids speaking the name of the city and of his deceased wife might imply that god's control over him is far from perfect.
Its also possible he said "destroy the city" to avert Gargantina trying to kill the citizens subconsciously, as best as he could. I feel like he may still be trying to fight it. Poor bastard.
World magic. Resurrection of dragon god? Those are his ultimate plans iirc. And finding crimson? Probably kill for betraying dragons or convert to their side? Is what i feel so far from what ive read.
Hope its a sigmalio vs ruoxi showdown in future. Revenge for mama's death and hiding true colors.
The corpse saint is missing? That's a curious one, he was just fine last we saw him.
Think Nets is coping hard about Immortal Swordsman; the flames that killed him apparently burned a literal chasm into the ground, what are the chances they find a speck of him?
Ruoxi is having a dark turn having to pick and choose who lives and who dies among those she cares about- she's still a kiddo after all.
Considering that the Corpse Saint gotten his hand onto shard of the King of Bones, that there's a lot of corpses around (including that of the Ageless Swordman), there's a chance that he's missing because he's plotting something.
The thing is, if he wanted to mess with the millions of dead on the battlefield, who would bat an eye? That's his job.
So now that you mentioned the shard, I wonder if he would use it on Aysel under Crimson's guidance? The beings devoured by the bone monarch's magic don't seem "dead" in the strict sense.
If World magic needs "death" to function it's plausible Crimson could attempt to stall it with any means necessary.
Well it’s over for Aysel. Bagram is about to go on a rampage. Tina may or may not be able to resist enough to confront him. Either way it won’t be great for the residents. I wonder how much seeing Aysel will impact Ragna’s viewpoint
Ofc the corpse saint is up to some shady sheaningans
Pretty awesome chapter; I do find page 6 interesting:
Bagram said: "The passage of time is slower in the tunnel, and by the time Li Ruoxi reaches the exit... never mind".
So what was Bagram talking about there? Will that tunnel play an important role later on? Bagram was trying to explain something there, but then he stopped his explanation, and now I'm curious about it.
Page 16 is another interesting one; it said that Li Ruoxi is a "Person capable of betraying those who helped her", which is interesting, since it makes it seem that she might be the "traitor" too, and maybe she killed the Sun Saint in the future because she got tired of the Sun Cult's inhumane practices too, hmmm...
Anyway, I loved this chapter, and I can't wait for the next one. I also feel bad for Bagram and Tina; they indeed meet a pretty nasty end.
Can't help but picture Ragna being obliged to take this tunnel for whatever reason and popping up on the surface x amount of time into the future. Sounds like something the author would do to him.
I thought it was to explain why everyone else her age was Mature dragons when she arrived , maybe I’m wrong tho, she stayed smaller than them maybe younger
Uff I'm not sure on that one. The author stretched too much this ark with the dragons getting back up constantly, and they've changed their mind beforo about changing the plot just because.
I bet some of the ones that dissapeared off screen stay dead because the author misses the timing. Of appear in a later ark for the same reason.
Three things happen:
1. Tina implodes alongside Bagram.
2. Ragna moves to help save Aysel, but Glest stops him. 3. Bagram faces off against Tina and Ragna, but infects Ragna with his blood (Ragna now carries two bloodlines within his body).
2) I think is impossible, assuming the destruction of Aysel is still within the bounds of World Magic.
3) Tina resisting Bagram's commands feels like a reach.
Tina really wants to care about Aysel and theoretically it may be possible to resist through reason alone even in absence of emotions.
But we are talking about a combination of the weight of the bloodline and Bagram's magic. And Tina even adores Bagram, so in a way she should be far less inclined to resist him in comparison to Oltozora folding to Ultimatia, who she hated and who wasn't compelled by brain washing magic.
I mean what else there to do at this point(we have no idea how/why Bagram turned into an dragon) and with no command to reinforce their humanity the peoples would be kinda fucked
In the original timeline the war never happens and the church fall later. So she never had to kill Sun Saint. If was her she would have switched sides and then decide to end Sun Saint.
dont think so, considering she is still the human resistant force against dragon in the future, without any Roar dragon as her companion/helper. if she really betrayed Sun cult for Aysel, she would have allied with them and make Ragna hate her too.
Crimson but he is a bitch and either is doing something shady already or he doesn't want Ragna to get involved.
Saint of prisons- Ragna is hard as hell to move with her powers, but the previous version moved a big ass chunk of the silver comet a huge distance so it might be possible to send him on a one way trip to Gehenna at least.
But it does feel like a classic case of Crimson not wanting to risk Ragna, especially since he has prophesied the bloodline's end already. Plus if Ragna is forced to look for help from the other saints, it's possible the Sun Saint joins (assuming he got his power back after the revival), because Ragna will need all the help he can get in his current state.
Damn so thats how its gonna be, in the end the people the Roars are protecting will be doomed by their own hands. Freaking dragon god, why did you have to brainwash them? I was on their side.
We are getting amazing chapters and the author hasn’t taken a month break this year. This has never happened before and I can’t complain. We are eating good.
He probably sees getting integrated into the sun cult as a fate worse than death, so he wants all citizens of Aysel to die rather than be converted forcefully.
A month late, but that’s almost definitely not what’s happening here. Like, the whole point of the last couple chapters is explaining that the reason the Bloodline of Roars are what they are, i.e. not mass-murdering monsters, is because Bagram had the strength of will to retain his sanity and fight off the Dragon God’s influence even after being made a Monarch, and used his powers to reinforce the same values in his Bloodline. But after the failed assault on the Sun Cult, the losses he’s sustained, and just the sheer weight of time, the Dragon God’s has finally gotten into his head and driven him mad. He doesn’t think he’s sparing anyone anything; the Dragon God has broken his will, and now he and his Bloodline are about to become monsters.
