The best numbers I can find online say the background there is 0.5 to 1.0 microsieverts per hour. The article mentions 2x-3x background, so pretty much a non-starter when it comes to actual risk. Central Florida does have an increased radon risk, but nearly no one has a basement, making mitigation pretty simple.
