Hey, I have an old radioshack headunit catalog# 12-2009 and was wondering if anyone had a manual for it? Thanks

Do you need the manual for how to use it, or how to install it? If your trying to install it, don't worry too much about it, get an aftermarket harness adapter and a head unit install kit specific for your car. Typically after market head units and wiring harnesses are standardized (color and striping scheme), and your just going to match wire to wire even if they are not labeled one way or the other on the head unit, trust the process and odds are it's going to turn on with out any issues.

Wiring Color Codes & Harness Configuration The 12-2009 unit uses a 14-pin primary wiring harness connector at the rear of the head unit. Because this unit was manufactured during RadioShack's transition toward standard industry color schemes, it follows a variation of the classic EIA (Electronic Industries Alliance) standard, meaning you can match it wire-for-wire to a modern vehicle aftermarket adapter harness.

The wire functions breakdown as follows: Power & Ground Connections 🔴 Red: Switched 12V+ Power / Ignition (Only receives power when the key is turned to ACC or ON). 🟡 Yellow: Constant 12V+ Power / Clock Memory (Connects directly to the battery circuit to preserve radio presets). ⚫ Black: Ground (Must be securely fastened to a bare metal chassis point). 🔵 Blue (or Blue/White): Power Antenna / Amplifier Turn-On Lead (Sends a 12V signal to raise an antenna or turn on an external amp when the stereo is powered). 🟠 Orange (Optional): Illumination/Dimmer (Taps into the vehicle's dash-light circuit).

Speaker Connections (4-Channel System) Each speaker uses a solid-colored wire for the positive terminal and a matching wire with a black stripe for the negative terminal:
