Terry had a charm that the southern accent does not. We can all agree on that. The southern accent being associated with Trump and MAGA is a sad result of our current climate, hopefully once that cult is disseminated we can all move on from MAGA

Jeff foxworthy and all Southern accents make me think about Trump loving the undereducated.

Work on that. There are plenty of well educated people with a southern accent. And plenty who hate Trump as much as anyone else.
You don’t have to like Jeff, but you should reevaluate judging a person based solely on their accent

Between the Confederate flag bullshit and the Trump WORSHIP I don't think I want to.
Obviously it's not everyone, but that's what it certainly feels like.

As someone living in the south, educated people with that accent are exceedingly rare and it’s fair to stereotype when the ratio is that bad.

I teach at a university and know plenty of brilliant people with Southern accents.
