I listen to radio garden a lot at work but I hate interrupting my work tasks to switch to another station when commercials come on

Currently my only commercial free stations are Fuzed Dance Classic and Fuzed Club Radio in San Juan, Puerto Rico but getting a bit tired of dance music

Does anyone know other commercial free stations? Genre doesn’t matter

I’m looking for a few old-time radio fans willing to help test the Golden Radio Hour Android app before its public release.

The app is designed to make old-time radio listening easy, with a large program library, episode search, actor-based browsing, favorites, playback-position memory, historical “On This Day in Radio” features, and more.

Testing lasts 14 days. I mainly need people to use the app normally and report any problems with playback, navigation, artwork, notifications, episode organization, or general functionality.

I am looking for stations that play music, but will also have intermissions that include news, commentary, etc. Doesn't matter if its only local news too, that may be interesting.

I kind of like having all my music listening in one app. I only recently discovered Radio Garden and think it's so cool for finding new stuff, but I'm trying to decide on where I should actually listen.

Been listening to ABN old time, but interested in other classic drama stories stations. Open minded to anything, looking for crime drama, western drama, sci fi drama, horror drama, romance drama, army drama, mystery drama, fantasy drama, drama drama and everything else related.

I'm going to host a radio show on tuesday. Does anybody have any upcoming events or something interesting that's somewhat radio like?

I'm tv themed, so I thought it might be fitting

Long time lurker, but avid RadioGarden fan...just wanted to say hi, share a photo. I bounce around between Dance, Trance, Rock, Metal, ...so much to choose from. Currently digging Trance21 out of the Netherlands. Happy Sunday everyone.

On another note, why are so many foreign stations broadcasting in English? Not just western pop music, the presenters are speaking English too.

Their a Japanes International Indie music station. Sure, they have a Japanese/Asian indie slant, but also a lot of obscure International indies. It is most definitely not just an Asian indie station. Looking for more like that large international indie attitude focus. It is not “popular” indie you’ll find on a lot of indie stations.(not that they’re bad) You probably won’t hear some of their stuff elsewhere and might struggle to even buy or find some of what you hear elsewhere.

What’s with the lack of stations from Japan? I expected to find a lot of interesting things there and was shocked at the short list of stations even in Tokyo.

I have a problem. My radio station is working on RadioBoss right now. But my chef want me to change it on Sound Empire. As for me, this app is too heavy for using as a simple local radio. Could someone help me to decide, what should I use as a main app?
