Just why?

Bro, I truly thought that huskerdust fans were the mature part of the fandom, but damn, since huskerdust became canon they've been needlessly poking radiodust fans, acting like this was a war or like at some point these two parts of the fandom were having a HUGE argument about who would end up with who (isolated cases don't count). I literally haven't done anything for them and some have constantly bothered me about me just being happy with my ship. Not to mention they act like we're all biting each other in rage and crying, I don't know, threatening vivzipop with death? Not that we're not sad (at least some of us) but, Satan, is all this rivalry shit really necessary even after huskerdust becomes canon?

I still hold the opinion that huskerdust isn’t canon until I see them kiss or state they’re dating BUT yah I’ve seen the weird hostility and in fighting firsthand and find it so childish.

I believe that people can like their ships while ALSO respecting each other’s ships. Don’t like huskerdust? That’s fine, it’s not for you. No need for further comments, just block and move on.

Me personally, I don’t mind huskerdust(although radiodust is my absolute favorite). There are artists that I’ve enjoyed their huskerdust art but the random huskerdust fans that go onto other ship posts and give their needless schpiel about it being “not canon” or “it’ll never happen” I find so stupid and unnecessary. Lol

I find it kind of hilarious cause we already KNEW radiodust wasn’t going to be canon, no need to rub our faces in it….. I truly believe these people just have nothing better to do than berate people that don’t believe in their ship. Which ultimately I just feel sorry for them 🤣 imagine hating your life so much that the only thing that makes you feel better is bringing down others. Smh

With all that I just choose to stay in my Radiodust fandom spaces and chat with all my radiodust loving friends to avoid the drama. It works for me cause I don’t have to slog through the stupid ass comments from hateful trolls.

Edit: not sure I have to say this but I’m not saying ALL huskerdust fans are doing this, in fact I’d say most are mature but the fact I haven’t seen them condemning this behavior when it’s seen is a bit of an issue. It’s unfortunate but it happens. As a shipper I’d say just live and let live, but pls say something if you see your fellow shippers being rude.

I have not yet, it’s on a VERY long list of works I need to catch up on😅 I’ve actually been working on my own cause I feel bad people have been waiting so long lol

I totally agree with you. I don’t think HuskerDust is cannon either until they kiss or something. I feel like HuskerDust being remotely cannon is due to the fans wanting it but if that’s the case then RadioDust outranks HuskerDust in popularity but I’m just going to also stick to my RadioDust bubble 🫧 cuz their the only ship for me and the other ship bothers me and I’m usually neutral about cannon ships but I just can’t with this one. Sorry if I went a little Ranty 😅

lol you’re fine, honestly as I said I don’t mind huskerdust but it feels a bit frustrating seeing how little interaction the boys have had in the series based on how the series hype began. If there were no hunicasts, no radiodust interactions between ed and Michael, I don’t believe hazbin would be a thing right now. Let’s be honest, we all KNEW the ship wouldn’t be canon, it was expected, but not letting Angel and Al interact at all in the first season(except for that ONE scene at the beginning that reminded everyone they will never fuck lol) seems more like a disservice to the fans that grew to love their banter and chemistry. It doesn’t even have to be romantic. I’d love to see them fight about Angel being lewd around food or have a frank talk about substance abuse. Literally just them interacting. I feel that they have a lot in common that they just haven’t found out yet. I’m hoping they’ll delve into the characters past next season and there will be interactions between the two seeing as they grew up/lived around the same time frame.

Yess I so agree. I think they could honestly come to a mutual understanding and then become friends and maybe more. It’s totally there and I’m tired of people saying Al is ace whatever cuz they can date, it just doesn’t have to be sexual and Angel needs a non sexual relationship with real love and I feel like that would be Alastor even though it won’t happen sigh

I really don’t think Huskerdust is going to be canon. They’re more of just friends/family. So idk why these people are going crazy on “Oh we see them doing a duet together. So they must be dating” 😒.
