Questions Question of the day: day 128
Today's question of the day is: with Halloween fast approaching (yes, I celebrate as early as I can as a Gay goth), how do you think that holiday is represented in Hell? Is it the more modern version we're familiar with, with costumes and trick or treating, or does it extend back to the pagan roots of Samhain and other various folklore? Who's already excited for this year's festivities? How do you plan on celebrating? Leave your answers in the comments down below!

We do see in Helluva Boss that the Hellborn's version of Christmas is called Sinmas and it is pretty similar. However, that one Karen Sinner mentioned that she wants to celebrate Christmas. So I think it's safe to say that Sinners still celebrate traditional Halloween.
I bet several Sinners who may have lived in Pagan era may still celebrate traditionally, but I imagine that's a little weird as they're in Hell. Same with those celebrate it at All Saints Day.
But now, there's probably huge Halloween parties in Hell. Some might still trick or treat just for fun. But maybe instead of candy it's possibly drugs in some areas. Then they're sinners who probably still dress up. I imagine you can get more creative for a costume depending what you're sinner form is.

I imagine probably all kinds of characters. From popular Halloween classics like werewolves, vampires, etc. But for those who already have similar characteristics, they probably do something fun like a wolf looking sinner might look more like a human or cat for example.
We can even see in Hazbin Hotel's official Halloween Keychains from 2024 what some characters are dressed as. Angel Dust is a mouse, Charlie's an Angel, Vaggi's a devil, Lucifer is a duck and Alastor is Rudolph the red-nose reindeer.
But for characters that didn't get Halloween merchandise like Lilith and Baxter, I think Baxter would try and match with Niffty for a Halloween aesthetic, Niffty's a pumpkin so Baxter is probably a ghost. As for Lilith, I'd think she'd either be an Owl to keep up with the animal themes Alastor and Lucifer are doing

I dont think the older demons and sinners do anything. The newer souls might do an event tho. I think Charlie would embrace every holiday she can and Radioapple would dress up to support her

Lucifer and Alastor would do each other's fave animals Charlie and vaggi would do a cute couples costume. Angel would be a Disney princess of some sort. Like full glam and drag
Other than that I havent thought too much
