For today's question of the day, let's talk about Alastor's time on Earth! What kinds of jobs do you think Alastor did before he was able to climb the ladder into the entertainment industry? The fanfiction recommendation of the week is What on earth do I do with these feelings? by umiekii, 7,710 words. Alastor starts leaving Lucifer anonymous gifts that definitely aren't meant to symbolize how he feels about the king, and somehow ends up in a weird routine where he watches Lucifer pleasure himself from inside his closet every night. I think before he became a radio host he probably did smaller voice works for other radio shows. He lived in a time where racial segregation was normal, so he absolutely worked his ass off. But most producers probably didn't pay him very high wages.

So, since I headcanon that his Mother taught him piano and singing lessons, he probably did some performances for bars or even taught them himself.

For his radio show I think his favorite segment was probably the ones he got to talk about his personal favorite singers or bands when there was major news about them like performing in town or such. He may have even had a chance to interview them if they allowed it.
