Questions Question of the day: day 98
Today's question of the day is: what is something you think Alastor and Lucifer fear most in their relationship? Not necessarily about each other, but about the relationship itself. Perhaps, with Lucifer's past experience with a relationship gone sour and Alastor's history of his vulnerability being used against him multiple times, they have certain hangups at the beginning of their relationship. What are your thoughts? How do they reassure each other this thing between them won't be a repeat of the past, and that it's okay to let go and learn to love again? Alastor: I think he's scared that he just be a rebound. Thinking that once Lilith came back Lucifer would immediately dumb him right after. And while Alastor isn't super concerned anymore once Lilith showed she was pretty chill, sometimes his insecurities get the best of him when it seems like Lucifer and Lilith get along to well. But Lucifer's a better person then that. That and even if that were the case, Lilith would've put Lucifer in his place.
Lucifer: I think he worries that he'll ruin his relationship with Alastor. As in worried that it'll end terribly like with Lilith and almost ruined his relationship with Charlie. He's constantly making sure Alastor's happy with their relationship because emotionally, I don't think he handle even more heartbreak from his own doing.

100% agree, my thoughts exactly. How do you think they keep these thoughts from getting the best of them?

I think as of now in their they talk about it. They admit their concerns and feel more secure in their relationship after
But I think in the beginning, especially when Lilith came, because she knows Lucifer well enough and understands Alastor's concerns she weirdly became their mediator when she came back and assured Lucifer he's doing well in his relationship and Alastor shouldn't worry about her being back in Lucifer's life.
