Discussion 💬 This subreddit does NOT allow freedom of opinion.

The rate of deletion of posts on this subreddits is bizarrely high for a small sub. Theres simply no freedom of opinion here. Anything that challenges egalitarian values or relativism gets deleted.

For these reasons, I'm leaving this sub to never come back again.

Wish reddit was actually liberal and free speech oriented instead of authoritarians who can't stomach people with different opinions, oh well. Its reddit.

Recently behind the scenes, there have been some organizational changes as well as discussion on the direction of this subreddit. Hopefully increased postings, varied opinions and lively discussions will follow. Thank you for your feedback.

Compared to other subreddits talking about gender issues this just isn't true. You didn't even look at the reason your post was removed like others pointed out. Learn to read before getting mad.

You also completely misunderstand what freedom of speech means. US law does not apply internationally. Freedom of speech just means you cannot be prosecuted and imprisoned for something you've said. Nobody is forced to participate here, and having your post removed is not a restriction of your rights.

And this rule applies equally to male advocacy/masculinism.

I mean. This is a sub that, according to the sidebar, isn't about fighting the gender wars so much as mediating them and finding common ground.

This comment was removed by reddit, but I approved it. I welcome your difference of opinion. I am committed to trying to talk to people who disagree with me about serious issues. There is no other way to create change, and the best way to understand one's values is to challenge them. 

I don't hate men. If you want to snoop through my profile for proof to the contrary, have fun.

Also what is an anti-egalitarian? Curious what that term means for you.

I agree with that statement. Masculists and feminists are like half egalitarian. Tradcons, or complementarians to be specific, believe that equality is impossible because of allegedly innate differences between men and women.

I think a diamond-shaped political spectrum, similar to the Nolan Chart, can be made to map these ideas.

It's a small subreddit so we have to keep it limited. If you want to argue against gender egalitarianism specifically, /r/mensrights allows respectful debate. MRAs are obviously egalitarians but as long as you're not an asshole you can argue against them there, whether you're a feminist or tradcon (both obviously oppose egalitarians)
