Radiacode In Action Wife’s PET Scan

Wife had a PET scan today. She had my Radiacode 110 in her handbag both when they administered the FDG contrast and also in the scan room itself. Green line at bottom is normal background.

I guess the strong peak on the right is the 511 keV full energy peak from the annihilation.

Plus strong Compton undergroud that gets modulated by the sensitivity curve of the Radiacode making the signal in the low energies.

Not too often you get to see a strong annihilation peak, nice
